Tickets for Smackdown 20th Anniversary special on FOX go on sale this week

The first Smackdown broadcast on Fox will be a 20th Anniversary celebration, meaning that WWE will load up the show hoping for a massive number on their new network.

The episode, set to air on October 4, will take place from the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, California, and tickets for the show will go on sale on August 16 at 10AM PT on AXS.COM. Ticket prices are $20.70, $36.25, $46.60, $56.95, $77.65, $98.35, $129.40, $362.25, and $517.50.

Smackdown went first on the air in April 1999 on UPN so while it’s technically 20 years that the show has been on the air, come October it would be six months past the anniversary date.

FOX Sports will be producing Smackdown once it moves to the network with big changes coming on how the product is presented on television. With less than two months to go for the switch, WWE Superstars will be appearing on several FOX shows to promote Smackdown coming to the network in the weeks to come.
