Tommaso Ciampa back on NXT television this Wednesday

Tommaso Ciampa is finally returning to NXT television this Wednesday after an absence of two months. His return was announced last night during Takeover: XXX.

The former NXT champion was last seen at NXT Takeover: In Your House where he was destroyed by Karrion Kross, who was having his first Takeover appearance back then.

In an Instagram post last month, Ciampa wrote that he misses the 2018 version of himself and ever since he returned from his neck surgery, nearly everything that happened has been a disappointment.

Ciampa said that he’s healthy and this year, after several weeks of being left off television, he finds himself with a new false dialogue. “Creative has nothing for you,” Ciampa explained. “Whether or not this is true really doesn’t matter. Because in my head, it’s true.”

The popular Superstar said that now he has a new vision and he’s hungrier than ever. “It’s time to evolve. It’s time to catch that next wave and reach that next high,” he wrote.
