Tournament to crown new NXT Women’s champion announced

A tournament will be held to crown the next NXT Women’s champion after Indi Hartwell surrendered the title ahead of their move to Monday Night Raw.

The eight-woman tournament will have matches on the May 9 and 16 episodes of NXT. Semi finals will follow on the May 23 episode of NXT and the tournament final will be held on May 28 at the Battleground premium live event.

The quarter final matches are Gigi Dolin vs Tiffany Stratton and Roxanne Perez vs Jacy Jayne in the left bracket while Lyra Valkyria vs Kiana James and Fallon Henley vs Cora Jade are in the right bracket.
