Triple H addresses Drew Gulak’s departure

Paul “Triple H” Levesque said last night in the post-Backlash press conference that Drew Gulak was not fired, but rather his contract was not renewed.

Levesque took a question from a member of the media where he was asked if Gulak was fired because of Ronda Rousey’s accusation that he was behaving inappropriately backstage with her.

In his response, the WWE Chief Content Officer didn’t look too pleased at the question and told the one who asked to check with “better sources” next time before asking such a question.

Triple H said that the NFL releases tons of players every year and it’s the unfortunate part of his job, but to make way for people to come in, there has to be releases. He said that Gulak’s contract was not picked up for a renewal and wasn’t necessarily fired.
