Triple H returns to WWE television after 5-month absence

After an absence of five months from WWE television, Triple H made his return last night on Monday Night Raw and helped Kevin Owens win the Universal title.

Things were looking more of the same when the former WWE champion showed up and attacked Roman Reigns, hitting the Pedigree outside the ring and helping Seth Rollins to eliminate Reigns from the title match. But the former Shield member had a major surprise waiting for him as out of nowhere, Triple H attacked Rollins, hitting the Pedigree on him instead. Owens had a look of disbelief on him but pinned Rollins to capture the title. After the match, Triple H held Kevin Owens’ arm up, showing where his loyalties stand.

Triple H has not appeared on WWE television since WrestleMania 32. On that show, he lost the WWE World title to Roman Reigns in the main event.
