Two changes to the Extreme Rules 2021 card

The Extreme Rules card underwent two minor changes last night during Raw, with one match getting a stipulation and another match getting a third participant.

The Roman Reigns vs Demon Finn Balor match for the Universal title will now be an extreme rules match with WWE probably trying to add some “uncertainty” over the outcome having already announced Reigns vs Lesnar at the Saudi pay-per-view for October.

Meanwhile, the United States title match will now be a triple threat match after Jeff Hardy defeated Sheamus last night on the show. Hardy joins Sheamus and champ Damian Priest in the match.

Last week it was also announced that Liv Morgan will take on Carmella on the show, with Extreme Rules now having six matches on its card. The PPV is this Sunday.
