Two major changes to Crown Jewel 2021 top matches

During the Crown Jewel Kickoff show it was announced that there will be two changes to the card in the form of gimmick matches.

The Universal title match between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar is now a no disqualification match while the Goldberg vs Lashley match is now a no holds barred and falls count anywhere match.

Both matches were straight up regular matches before today and the changes will allow for some interferences and other shenanigans to occur without having to call for the bell.

Crown Jewel kicks off in less than an hour on the WWE Network and Peacock.

UPDATE: In a weird turn of events, it was announced on the Kickoff show that Roman Reigns or Brock Lesnar were not interested in the no disqualification stipulation, and the match was changed to a regular match again minutes later.
