Two matches made official for SummerSlam 2024

Two matches for SummerSlam were made official last night on Friday Night Smackdown.

In the main event, Undisputed WWE champion Cody Rhodes will be putting the title on the line against the new head of the table and Bloodline leader Solo Sikoa.

Sikoa, along with Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, and Tonga Loa destroyed Rhodes in the show-closing angle and then beat up Randy Orton as well who came to try and save Rhodes.

Meanwhile, United States champion Logan Paul will defend his title only for the third time since winning it against LA Knight. The two have been going at each other for several weeks now and Paul will be on Smackdown next week.

These matches join the already-announced Damian Priest vs Gunther for the WWE World Heavyweight title and Bayley vs Nia Jax for the WWE Women’s title.
