Two NXT title matches set for next week’s broadcast

Oba Femi will be making his first NXT title defense next week as he takes on Eddy Thorpe in the main event of the show which will air on CW in the United States and Netflix in most of the other markets.

The match was set up in the opening segment of last night’s show which also saw the inclusion of Tony D’Angelo and Ridge Holland. With D’Angelo and Holland fighting, Thorpe knocked down the champion and in a backstage segment later, Femi told NXT General Manager Ava that he wants Thorpe for next week.

Meanwhile, the two other individuals involved in the opening segment will also have a match of their own as Tony D’Angelo will defend his NXT North American title against Ridge Holland as a consequence of their brawl.

The two title matches are the only thing announced so far for next week’s broadcast.
