Update on WWE live event in Toronto for December 29

In an e-mail sent to ticket holders of the WWE live event in Toronto, the Coca-Cola Coliseum said that the show will go on as planned with 50% reduced capacity and offered fans a refund for those who did not wish to attend.

“The health and safety of you, our fans, is our top priority. If you prefer not to attend the event out of an abundance of caution, we have opened an optional refund window,” reads the e-mail which was forwarded to us by W-O reader Josh Packham.

A refund window is open until tomorrow, Thursday, December 23 at 5PM ET. You can process your refund by logging into your Ticketmaster.ca account and following the refund instructions.

WWE probably did not originally have over 50% of the capacity sold which is why it’s less of a headache to go ahead with the event without much changes. Hall of Famer Trish Stratus will be hosting the show.
