Wooooo! The queen returns, gets title shot on June 30 Smackdown

Asuka’s presentation of the new WWE Women’s Championship was cut short by the return of Charlotte Flair.

Flair, who had been out of action since losing the Smackdown Women’s title to Rhea Ripley on night one of WrestleMania 39, quickly inserted herself into the title picture, even though Adam Pearce told her she has to get in line.

“Excuse me? I don’t wait in line,” Flair said. “I made the line.”

Flair told Asuka that no one respects her more than she does but she wants her title. Asuka screamed something in Japanese and then said she accepted Flair’s challenge. Asuka then tried to spray mist in Flair’s face but Flair ducked and instead gave her a boot to the face and the champion went down.

The match between Asuka and Flair was then made official for the June 30 episode of Smackdown which will take place from London, England, on the eve of Money In The Bank.
