WrestleMania Backlash 2021 pay-per-view results

Here are the results from last night’s WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view which took place from the WWE ThunderDome inside the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.

Sheamus defeated Ricochet in a non-title Kickoff match; Rhea Ripley defeated Asuka and Charlotte Flair in a triple threat match to retain the Raw Women’s title; Rey and Dominik Mysterio defeated Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode to become the new Smackdown Tag Team champions; Damien Priest defeated The Miz in a lumberjack match; Bianca Belair defeated Bayley to retain the Smackdown Women’s title; Bobby Lashley defeated Drew McIntrye and Braun Strowman in a triple threat match to retain the WWE title; Roman Reigns defeated Cesaro to retain the Universal title.

The pay-per-view was sponsored by the movie Army of the Dead which stars former WWE champion Batista in the leading role. The movie had a unique tie-in to the show, with Batista narrating the opening video which also had clips of the movie inserted and also had zombies as lumberjacks for The Miz vs Damien Priest.
