WWE and DK Publishing announce WWE 50 book

WWE and DK Publishing issued a press release today announcing the new WWE book titled ‘WWE 50,’ a book which celebrates 50 years of WWE history with an unprecedented and in-depth look into the story of the company.

The book tackles WWE’s split from the National Wrestling Alliance, the sale of WWE to Vince McMahon by his father, WWE’s national expansion, innovations of WrestleMania, Raw, SmackDown, Survivor Series and other shows, triumph in the Monday Night Wars, and taking WWE public.

Spanning over 224 pages and in hardcover format, the book is written by Kevin Sullivan who has worked on the WWE Encyclopedia and other WWE related books in the past. It is scheduled to be released in March 2014.
