PWInsider.com is reporting that Kevin Dunn, WWE’s Chief of Global TV Distribution and Executive Producer, is leaving the company after he gave his notice during the week.
Dunn is considered as one of the most powerful man in WWE and has been working for the company since the early 80s, hired by Vince McMahon to oversee all of the company’s television production.
PWInsider adds that Dunn was not overly happy with the changes after the TKO merger and with McMahon out of power, it meant that things didn’t always go his way.
Dunn was most of the time the “fall guy” from fans, especially those online, when they didn’t like how certain things were filmed, especially the unnecessary camera shaking on beatdowns. But despite his many bad habits, Dunn was one of the WWE’s most valuable players with decades of experience in running a high-budget television production.
His loss will certainly be felt in the WWE production trucks and it will probably take more than one person to fill in the massive job.
