WWE hires UFC Performance Institute Vice President of Operations James Kimball

James Kimball, the Vice President, Operations at UFC Performance Institute, has departed the company to join WWE according to Marc Raimondi of ESPN. WWE has not officially announced his recruitment.

Kimball, a veteran UFC employee, was promoted to the position four years ago and oversaw the build, planning, strategy and day-to-day operation of the athlete facility in Las Vegas. Kimball’s new title in WWE is not yet known although he will be occupying a senior operations role.

Prior to joining the UFC and now WWE, Kimball held positions with Lagardere Unlimited and the Washington Wizards. He has a BS in Health, Fitness, Recreation, and Sports Management from George Mason University followed by a graduate degree in Sports Industry Management from Georgetown University.
