WWE issues official statement on Hulk Hogan

Earlier today, WWE issued a statement on Hulk Hogan who is no longer part of the company.

“WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan). WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide,” the statement read.

Hulk Hogan has been removed from WWE.COM searches, WWEShop.com merchandise, and even the WWE Hall of Fame website where his profile is no longer accessible. He is still available on the WWE Network if you search for him.

In comments given to TMZ.COM, his attorney said that Hogan wasn’t fired from WWE but he resigned late Thursday evening after word got out that the Enquirer was going to drop the bomb on Friday morning.
