WWE moves nearly 100,000 tickets for two-night WrestleMania 39 in a new record

WrestleMania 39 tickets were off to a fantastic start as each night sold nearly 50,000 tickets each with the show still eight months away. This marked a new record for WrestleMania ticket sales.

“In nearly 40 years, we have never sold that many WrestleMania tickets that fast,” said WWE EVP Paul Levesque. “With those record numbers, we are tracking toward sell-outs with passionate fans at SoFi Stadium for both nights.”

Not the whole stadium was opened for tickets yet but that will gradually increase as the show gets closer. SoFi Stadium is currently set up for 50,532 seats for each night.

According to @WrestleTix, the first night has 48,782 tickets sold, with 1,750 tickets left while the second night has 49,443 tickets with 1,089 left. It was announced last week that they had the biggest one-day sale for the show ever and ticket sales have so far surpassed that of WrestleMania 38 in Dallas at the same stage.

The rumored main event of WrestleMania 39 is Roman Reigns vs The Rock and that might have also played a part in the strong opening weekend sales.
