WWE paying less than half a million dollars for Amway Center residency

WWE will be paying less than half a million dollars to occupy the Amway Center for the next two-and-a-half months.

Spectrum News 13 journalist Jeff Allen reported that City of Orlando officials told him that the price for the residency will be around $450,000 for the whole duration. If things remain the same with the pandemic, it’s likely that the promotion will try to extend the deal or find a similar location.

$450,000 is practically peanuts for WWE and considering WWE will be holding around 22-25 television tapings over the next couple of months there, that works out to less than $20,000 a show.

WWE production crew is already hard at work setting up the Amway Center, turning it into the high-tech ThunderDome for the first show this Friday.
