WWE pays tribute to Bobby “The Brain” Heenan on Raw

WWE paid tribute to Bobby “The Brain” Heenan last night on Monday Night Raw with a 3-minute video showcasing the funniest moments from his career and other segments throughout the broadcast.

Raw opened with an in memoriam graphic and then the tribute video played later in the show to the audience at home and live in the arena.

Heenan passed away on Sunday at 72 years of age, just a month and a half shy from his 73rd birthday, after a long battle with throat cancer. His passing sparked a wave of condolences from his former colleagues who all had nothing but good things to say about Heenan.

WWE also filmed several sit-down interviews with many talent backstage prior to Raw for an upcoming tribute show which will air on the WWE Network.
