WWE pays tribute to Pat Patterson with Sinatra’s My Way video

WWE paid tribute to Hall of Famer Pat Patterson last night at the start of NXT with a video set to Patterson’s favorite song, Frank Sinatra’s My Way.

All of the NXT Superstars and backstage personnel started the show at the top of the stage to pay their respects as the video aired, showing several photos and videos throughout his illustrious wrestling career. Fans inside the Capitol Wrestling Center chanted “Thank you Pat” after the video ended as his photos took over the mini-ThunderDome setup.

The song My Way was a karaoke favorite for the 79-year-old Patterson who often sang it during parties. The video will most likely air on Smackdown and Raw as well.
