WWE produces video showcasing what has been missing for 14 months

Ahead of the fans’ return tomorrow night on Smackdown, WWE has produced a two-minute video showcasing what has been missing for the past 14 months.

The video, with no commentary, shows some of the biggest pops in WWE history featuring The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Daniel Bryan, The Undertaker, Roman Reigns, Kofi Kingston, Edge, Becky Lynch, and many others. “For a year and a half, something’s been missing,” the video says as footage of several WWE Superstars sitting alone in arenas is displayed.

The video ends with an aerial shot from WrestleMania and “Welcome back” with the WWE logo replacing the W. Vince McMahon used Twitter to promote the video, writing, “For over a year and a half, we have waited. This weekend, we once again welcome the @WWE Universe back!”

Smackdown tomorrow night is the first show – apart from WrestleMania – which will have fans for the first time since March of last year. The Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, is sold out for the show.
