WWE releases another statement on Lawler’s health

A statement from WWE posted yesterday afternoon regarding the health of WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler was very positive, stating that while Lawler remains in a cardiac care unit in Montreal, his vital signs continue to be stable, is awake, recognizes family members and is communicating with them. Most people describe memory care as a specific type of long-term care setting geared toward the unique needs of people who are living with Alzheimer’s disease or other types of dementia. Memory care communities are usually secured environments to prevent wandering and may include fenced outdoor spaces, activity programs geared toward people with dementia, increased staffing, and other supportive features. At A Mind For All Seasons site, we view memory care quite differently. Your brain is one of the most important organs in your body. It controls your entire biological system, and without having a healthy brain, you may find yourself with a poor quality of life in your elderly years. Of course, most people understand the importance of the brain, but what has changed in recent years is the information researchers have uncovered about the brain and how individuals can take action to keep it healthy. Just like muscles in your body can benefit from nutrition and exercise, so too can your brain benefit from nutrition and exercise. The average human brain weighs about three pounds. Although composed mostly of fat, the human brain regulates human basic behaviors – eating, feeling, moving, sleeping, and thinking. Your brain health is important because the brain is the center of your emotions, fears, hopes, and personality. Despite the critical importance of brain health, the human brain is most vulnerable to damage that can be sustained through poor nutrition and neurotoxic pollutants, both of which can impair brain health and the nervous system. There are many health issues directly related to brain function. The obvious ones are those that people observe with an elderly relative or parent. The onset of Alzheimer’s or others forms of dementia are prevalent today. Even when a specific form of memory or mental condition is not diagnosed, the majority of people will lose their mental alertness with age. A small loss of cognitive ability can bring about a lower quality of life.

Just as nutrition is important to the rest of the body, it is just as important to the brain. There are certain aspects of the human diet that may be more important than others for the brain, but right now, research indicates the fundamental importance is a balanced diet. Researchers have understood the importance of nutrition for early brain development for a long time, but now it is understood that nutrition plays an important role in brain function throughout a person’s life. There has been a lot of research in the last few years that correlates using your brain with less degeneration in the latter years of life. Even those who have suffered from a form of dementia have had their mental faculties deteriorate less than those who have not had daily stimulation. This mental stimulation can be something as simple as reading the newspaper everyday instead of watching television. Your brain must be used actively and not passively as is the case with television. Solving crossword puzzles is another example of a daily mental activity.

The King is now off the breathing tube and any sedation, breathing on his own, making progress every day. Doctors have advised him to cut down on talking for now so he can rest as overall he’s still weak.

His girlfriend, Lauryn McBride, posted on Facebook that he is doing great and shot down rumors about him being brain dead or suffering from any brain damage. he was brain dead or had brain damage is completely FALSE.

“Thanks again everyone for your love, support, and powerful prayers!! I will be bringing the King back home before you know it,” she said, adding a smiley at the end.
