WWE returning to Madison Square Garden on February 27

Former WWE champion Randy Orton returned to action last night at Madison Square Garden facing Kane. It was Orton’s first wrestling match since November 3, where he was written out of storylines following a match with Seth Rollins on Raw.

Orton’s absence from television was due to him filming The Condemned 2, a WWE Studios movie which is set for release next year. Filming took place in New Mexico. Orton is now back on the road full time and will be on Monday Night Raw for the last show of 2014.

Speaking of Madison Square Garden, the company also announced that they will be returning for another non-televised event on February 27 with Hulk Hogan also making an appearance, his first in the historic building since an episode of Raw in 2005.
