WWE returning to Shanghai, China in September

WWE will be returning to China for a non-televised live event at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai on September 1.

The Raw brand will be making the trip to the Far East and all the top stars including Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Alexa Bliss, Matt Hardy, Finn Balor will be on the show. Joining them for this tour will be Ronda Rousey, who might be the Raw Women’s champion by the time the event comes around.

“We are excited to return to Shanghai, demonstrating WWE’s commitment to our passionate and growing fan base in China,” said Jay Li, Vice President and General Manager of WWE Greater China. “Fans can look forward to seeing an action-packed night of family-friendly entertainment that will create lifelong memories.”

This will be the company’s third year in a row doing a live event in the communist country.

The WWE Superstars and crew will have a bit of traveling to do as the tour starts on August 29 in London for a one night only event at The O2 Arena before moving to Osaka, Japan for a show at the Osaka’s Edion Arena on August 31, and then to China.
