WWE show at MSG appears to be off as NY Governor bans mass gatherings

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo has banned gatherings of more than 500 people in the state of New York, affecting all concerts, sporting events, Broadway, and other events.

WWE has a non-televised live event at Madison Square Garden on March 22 at 3PM, an event which now has to be canceled. Thousands of tickets remained unsold and despite WWE pushing a DX reunion, tickets didn’t move as expected.

The company has not announced yet what they will do but refunds will certainly be issued to those who purchased tickets.
