WWE Spanish announcer Carlos Cabrera released

Carlos Cabrera, the long-time WWE Spanish announcer, is no longer with the company after it was revealed today that WWE released him after 29 years of service.

The news was originally broken by another former WWE announcer, Hugo Savinovich, through his Lucha Libre Online website.

Cabrera, who is 62 years old, has done commentary for pretty much every WWE show, including pay-per-views, in his three-decade career there and had a front row seat to some of the wildest Spanish announce table crashes throughout the years.

Marcelo Rodriguez and Jerry Soto will be the new Spanish announce team. Rodriguez replaced Savinovich when he was let go from WWE in 2011.
