WWE suspends Rich Swann indefinitely following arrest

As expected, former WWE Cruiserweight champion Rich Swann has been suspended by WWE.

A short statement on WWE.COM reads, “WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving domestic violence, and per our policy, Rich Swann has been suspended indefinitely following his arrest.”

According to their Wellness Program, domestic violence leads also to a strike on their record but WWE did not mention this. A first violation results to a 30-day suspension. The indefinite suspension will last until all legal proceedings against Swann are concluded and then WWE can take further action depending on the outcome.

Swann was supposed to wrestle Drew Gulak on Raw tomorrow in a #1 contenders match for the Cruiserweight title. Their match is still part of the Raw preview on WWE.COM but obviously that match will not happen now.
