WWE to soon launch AR advertising and experiences with help from Snap

Social media company Snap yesterday announced that it’s launching a global creative studio to help brands develop augmented reality advertising and experiences.

WWE has signed up to be one of the studio’s first brands to make use of this technology. WWE uses Snap as part of its social media outreach along with other popular services like Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and others.

The studio, named Arcadia, has already partnered with numerous companies, including Verizon, Shake Shack, and P&G Beauty apart from WWE.

“Overdelivering to our fans has always been important to WWE,” said WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon in a tweet. “Excited to be one of the first partners of Snap’s Arcadia, developing AR experiences for our passionate fanbase all over the world.”
