WWE unveils WrestleMania 37 stage, drones display expected during select entrances

Last night, WWE completed the Raymond James Stadium setup and unveiled the stage of WrestleMania for the first time.

Canons from inside the massive pirate ship fired bombs and a huge display of fireworks accompanied the set reveal. A large semi-circular LED screen across the whole stage supports the pirate ship and will serve as the entrance leading to the ramp.

The WrestleMania logo is split into three and is creatively displayed as a flag hanging from the three large masts on the pirate ship.

The canopy on top of the ring is supported by four steel columns that are covered with LED screens and the canopy is also serving as video billboard on all four sides. There’s no structure on top of the canopy.

Also, over the past two days, WWE has been testing the addition of drone displays that will be used as part of the entrances for certain WWE Superstars at WrestleMania.

The display is performed by hundreds of small illuminated, synchronized, and choreographed groups of drones that automatically arrange themselves into various aerial formations controlled by software on the ground and transformed into a flight pattern.

Images leaked online show the drones forming Sasha Banks’ sunglasses, Bianca’s lip logo and EST, as well as Let Me In for The Fiend.

You can check out the set reveal below.
