In a short and sweet message on WWE.COM, WWE acknowledged CM Punk’s latest move, writing, “WWE wishes Phil Brooks (aka CM Punk) the best of luck in his newest endeavor.”

This no doubt comes after Punk said in an interview that WWE will pretend that they don’t know about it and will continue to pretend not to know about it because they don’t consider UFC their competition.

Punk became the latest professional wrestler following Brock Lesnar’s and Bobby Lashley’s footsteps to join the world of mixed martial arts.
