WWE’s residency at The Yuengling Center to end on August 3

According to the Yuengling Center, WWE’s ThunderDome residency will last until August 3 and there will be no fans permitted.

The date was revealed on the arena’s website so this gives WWE four months inside the same location. The Yuengling Center is the third ThunderDome location following the Amway Center and Tropicana Field.

WWE has noted in the past that they don’t plan to resume having fans for television shows until the second half of 2021 and that’s when touring is also supposed to resume. Everything is of course dependent on the situation at the time and how the coronavirus pandemic is handled four to five months from now.

The Yuengling Center in Tampa is on the campus of the University of South Florida and WWE last held a show there in 1995 when they presented the Royal Rumble. The arena is around 33 miles north east from Tropicana Field and 90 miles south west from the WWE Performance Center.
